PCHS-SSLG Tree Planting Activity

In lined with the
Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) Action Plan, with the objectives
under the Makakalikasan Core Value. This day, September 16, 2023, the SSLG
Officers initiated this activity in the school vicinity. This activity aims to
help preserve our environment in the school’s, raise awareness in the
preservation of mother nature, reduce climate change effects and provide shade
for students.
This activity led
by the SSLG President Bernard R. Cortez together with the SSLG Advisers- Mrs.
Rose Ann Driz and Ms. Rosie Ann M. Tiama and other SSLG Officers. Our SHS
Coordinator Mrs. Crisconnie M. De Vera, and officer-In-Charge, Mrs. Rosario M.
Bulfa showed support and joined in tree planting. Also the School Gulayan sa
Paaralan Coordinator- Ms. Dianna Ann R. Alonte (SHS) and Mr. Rolando G. Bulfa
(JHS), joined in this activity.
This activity would not be successful without the
partnership of Municipal Agriculture Office headed by Mr. German A. Candido.
Then school was provided with twenty-four (24) seedlings from their office.
These are equally distributed to JHS and SHS Department.
At exactly 8 am
the activity happened in Senior High School Department followed by Junior High
School Department. This activity includes the cleaning of site, digging of
holes, planting of seedling, putting tree guard and lastly watering the
seedlings.
