Construction of Multipurpose Covered Court in PCHS fulfilled before the end of 2023.

Pitogo Community High School’s (PCHS) most awaited and
requested covered court will be realized this year through the collective
efforts of Congressman Reynan U. Arrogancia, 3rd District of Quezon
Representative, Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), Local
Government of Pitogo and PCHS General Parent and Teachers Association (GPTA).
The proposal for the request of the construction of the said
multi-purpose covered court was presented during the meeting of the PCHS GPTA
on September 23, 2022, with Resolution No. 001 s. 2022. The said request was submitted
to the office of 3rd Congressional Representative Arrogancia and later
granted by the congressman.
After the assessment of the perimeter of the site on May 9,
2023, with the DPWH, officials from the office of the congressman, and the Municipal
Engineering Office of Pitogo, the ground-breaking ceremony was scheduled on
June 8, 2023.
The congressman expressed his joy in his message at the ground-breaking ceremony. He promised that in the next few years, he will try to
provide all barangays and schools in Pitogo with a covered court that will
benefit the people of Pitogo.
“Ako po’y nagagalak na sa araw pong ito maihahatid po natin ang
proyekto na alam kong matagal na matagal na pong hinihing ng ating paaralan…sa
susunod pong taon may sarili pong Multi-purpose Building ang Elementary [Dulong
Bayan Elementary School] … at ang mga wala pong Multi-purpose dito sa Pitogo [ay]
paiikutan ko na po para ma-validate kung mayroon po silang lugar na talagang
puwedeng paglagyan” The congressman said.
The Municipal Mayor of Pitogo, Hon. Dexter L. Sayat, together
with his council, Deped Pitogo District School Heads headed by PSDS Meriam C.
Camposano, PCHS Stakeholders, and personnel led by Mrs. Rosario M. Bulfa,
Officer-in-Charge also expressed their support and gratitude to Cong. Reynan
for his love and concern for the people of Pitogo.
“Kayo po [Cong. Arrogancia at Lokal na Pamahalan ng Pitogo]
ang nagng susi upang buksan ang pinto ng isang pangarap ng aming paaralan… para
sa mamamayan lalo’t higit sa aming batang Pitogohin. Tanggapin po ninyo ang
aming taus-pusong pasasalamat.” Mrs. Bulfa said.
Currently, the construction of the said project is ongoing
and possibly finish before the end of the year.
